The RI-MUHC has initiated Phase 2 of its Research Ramp-Up plan as of June 22.
As part of this process and following the successful implementation of Phase 1, we are happy to announce that the MGH MRI facility will also initiate Phase 2 of the re-opening under guidelines from the MUHC and RI-MUHC starting June 22, 2020.
Phase 2 notably involves resuming of on-site 1-on-1 training at the scanner with the MRI Platform Manager. We can also accommodate phantom scanning and research setup testing. To receive 1-on-1 training, users must:
- Already hold an MUHC ID card.
- Have completed the online theoretical training.
- Have completed MRI safety training.
- Book the time for 1-on-1 training with the Platform Manager using the online schedule
We anticipate a return to scanning of research participants in the near future. You are strongly encouraged to use this time to complete any theoretical and safety training, finalize your research setup, completing SOP documents, and refresh your MRI hands-on training.
